Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Schedule

Registration and Payment Information

All registrations require a $500 non-refundable deposit. To qualify for the early registration Retreat Fee, a $500 non-refundable deposit must be received by January 6, 2023 AND the full balance, inclusive of the retreat fee and room charge, must be fully paid by February 15, 2023. Failure to fully pay the balance by February 15, 2023, will result in an increase in the Retreat Fee to $2,100 payable by March 31, 2023.

All retreat and rooms fees must be paid no later than May 15, 2023. We are happy to set up payment plans that meet the payment deadlines. If payment in full is not received by May 15, 2023, we have the right to cancel your registration and will refund any monies based on the Cancellation Schedule below.

Cancellation Policy and Refund Schedule

The information below refers to cancellations made by the attendee. If Mark Matousek Media cancels the retreat for any reason, registrants will be reimbursed 100% of any monies collected. With respect to Covid-19 or any other health emergency, Mark Matousek Media will only cancel the retreat if travel out of the United States or to Europe and/or Italy is not possible. Any cancellation by an attendee due to an uptick in Covid-19 or other viral infections that has not resulted in travel limitations, will be refunded based on the cancellation schedule below. Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds will be based on the date the written cancellation is received.

Cancel on or before February 28, 2023: 100% refund of collected fees less the $500 non-refundable deposit
Cancel March 1 – March 31, 2023: 75% of collected fees less the $500 non-refundable deposit
Cancel April 1 – April 30, 2023: 50% of collected fees less the $500 non-refundable deposit
Cancel May 1 – May 31, 2023: 25% of collected fees less the $500 non-refundable deposit
Cancel on or after June 1, 2023: No refund

Covid-19 Policy

All guests must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and present proof of Covid-19 vaccination. Attendees must keep current with any booster requirements as outlined by CDC officials and are required to present updated vaccination proof by May 31, 2023. We will continuously monitor recommendations by local, state, city, country, and the CDC, and update our policy accordingly. Guests will be responsible for adhering to any changes in Covid-19 guidelines as the virus and infection landscape changes and must agree to any and all measures necessary to keep the health and welfare of the other guests, Mark Matousek Media staff, and the retreat center staff safe. We will have information on local Covid-19 testing sites if the need to test arises. Any positive results will require isolation and quarantine at the expense of the guest.
